Participant types

Eight defined participant roles.

Mainlynk's network is structured around eight participant types. Each type has distinct roles, responsibilities, and rights within the network. Participation in one type does not automatically confer rights in another.

Institutional Member

A financial institution that participates in the Mainlynk Channel to route unsupported credit opportunities through the governed placement process.

Enterprise Member

A larger or multi-market institution participating across multiple products, geographies, or service lines under a single governing agreement.

Bank and Credit Union Capital Provider

A depository institution that receives and funds opportunities through the channel under defined product, geography, and conduct standards.

Non-Bank Specialty Lender

A non-depository lender certified to receive channel opportunities within defined product categories and credit parameters.

Strategic Capital Provider

A capital provider with a broader or multi-product relationship with Mainlynk, participating across more than one product schedule or service line.

Private Credit Provider

A private credit firm or fund participating in defined product categories where institutional capital providers do not have appetite.

Lending Service Provider (LSP)

An operational partner that supports platform design, credit operations, compliance, or servicing functions for Mainlynk or its members.

Technology Partner

A lending technology company that has completed Mainlynk's diligence and certification process and is approved for integration into the governed ecosystem.

Dual-role institutions

An institution may participate as both a member and a capital provider. When an institution holds both roles, its member and provider activities are governed separately. Member-side relationship protections apply to the institution's own referred customers. Provider-side conduct rules apply to opportunities the institution receives from other members. The two roles do not create cross-obligations or shared economics.
